AKHNOOR, July 15: District Development Council member Pt. Suresh Sharma took stock of the damage and broken roads in various areas of Block Maira Mandrian including Parsoti, Barui, Devnagar, Nardi, Tacharwa, Nargada, Mandrian and Targah.
People apprised Sharma that at present time there is a grave problem of commuting due to bad road conditions. Suresh Sharma, while assuring the people, gave directions to the officer of the department on the spot and said that such blockages must be cleared soon.So that people could ply without any constraints.
Giving instructions, he said that the repair work of all these roads should also be started soon. Pt. Suresh Sharma asked the officers of the department that no road should be closed during the rainy season, the forest cutting of all the roads from Khuga to Jeri Road and all the surrounding link roads and of Chowki Chaura area roads should be done at the earliest.
During visit AEE Angrez Singh, Sarpanch Rashpal Sharma, Sarpanch Tarlochan Dutt, officials of the department and local people accompanied him.
