Early Times Report DODA, July 15: Additional Deputy Commissioner, Doda, Dr R K Bharti today chaired a meeting to discuss the Independence Day Celebration arrangements here at the Conference Hall of DC office. The Additional Deputy Commissioner informed that the main function will be held at Sports Stadium Doda where Chief Guest will unfurl the Tricolour and shall take salute at the March Past Parade. The contingents of J&K Police, IRP, CRPF, FPF, SSB, Senior and Junior NCC wings and District Police Band shall participate in the march past. Similarly it was decided that there shall not be more than 3 to 4 cultural items for the Independence Day celebration in view of covid threat. The cultural programme would be presented by the Cultural department. The ADC directed the concerned to ensure that small groups of artists participate in one cultural item. The preparations for making Tableaus by the departments were also discussed, and the concerned heads were asked to start the exercise. Adherence to Covid-19 safety SOPs would be given first priority while making the arrangements and during the celebration, the meeting decided. The departments were asked to recommend the names of the outstanding officials to the screening committee for their felicitation on the day of the National event. The meeting was attended by SP Bhaderwah, Commandant IRP, Dy Commandant, PO ICDS, CPO, GM DIC, ACD Doda, CMO, CEO, DIO beside other key officials of Civil/Police administration and Para Military forces. |
