AJKYF demands mass promotion for 10th class students
7/15/2021 11:08:50 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 15: All J&K Youth Federation (AJKYF), District Ramban Executive Committee Member, Imran Farhat expressed deep concern over class 10th students protesting on roads for raising their voices to the ears of deaf government while issuing a press statement here today.
Imran Farhat said that government is acting like a mute spectator on each and every aspect and the same is seen on the roads when 10th class students were protesting and instead of listing and redressing their grievances they were detained by the police which is a shameful act done by the Acche Din government. Covid-19 pandemic have worst affected every corner of the world and same is the affect on the students which is not considered by the government.
He further said that this is a grave injustice with class 10th students of JKBOSE, they must be given mass promotion as a one time exception or a way out should be found to save their academic year and that has been done knowing well that the students across the country are getting mass promotions and have stepped towards 11th standard a step ahead of JKBOSE students.
He added that AJKYF stands with the students of class 10th and their demands. The JKBOSE must promote all the students of class 10th to the next class in view of the continuous closing of schools and improper online teaching. The students of rural and hilly areas were the worst sufferers of online teaching which could not cater the needs of the students and the doubts and questions of the students were not taken by the teachers during the online classes.
