Early Times Report

Jammu, July 15: In order to intensify the political activities going on in Jammu and Kashmir these days, the Jammu Kashmir People’s Movement has taken strong notice of the decisions of the government.
Movement’s state secretary Surinder Singh Jamwal while addressing the members of Jammu province said that the central government is doing new experiments in Jammu and Kashmir for its scoring, while there is no homework of the government behind it.
Questioning the ongoing process of delimitation in Jammu and Kashmir, Jamwal said it would have no meaning until the state hood is returned to Jammu and Kashmir. He said that by talking of delimitation, the government only wants to entangle the people and political leaders here. He said that on one hand BJP is beating its drums to do justice to Jammu and on the other hand it is proving its lies by getting delimitation done on the basis of 2011 census.
Jamwal said that the BJP leaders and their central command are themselves saying that the census was wrong in 2011 and now they themselves are going to do the deletion on the basis of the wrong census. Although Jamwal welcomed the delimitation process, he also said that when elections can be held in Assam without delimitation, then what is not being done in Jammu and Kashmir.
Surinder Singh Jamwal said that in the last two years, the Central Government has made Jammu and Kashmir a colony, where neither any political process nor any development work is being done. Unemployed youth are getting educated rate by rate. The government has no roadmap to give them employment, the government has no plan to ensure that thousands of casual, temporary workers are working in government departments for the past several decades.
