Ex legislator visits Jammu West, interacts with shopkeepers

JAMMU, July 20: Former State President BJP and Ex MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma (CA) visited Gole Gujral area of Jammu West and interacted with a number of locals mainly the Shopkeepers association who were facing some problems from quite some time. Sharma was also accompanied by Corporator Sat Pal Karlupia, District General Secretary BJP Rajesh Gupta, local residents and political activists of the area.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that some demands have been raised by the shopkeepers association and all their demands are genuine and will be passed to concerned authorities in the J&K administration. He said the association also raised several pending issues pertaining to the welfare of shopkeepers.
He said during the time of pandemic, the shopkeepers all around J&K UT have also suffered and it will be seen that all their problems are met by the Government so that they and their families do not face any problems in future. He also stated that they have also brought into our notice some other problems in the locality which will also be solved in coming days.
Sat Pal Karlupia and Rajesh Gupta said that the demands of the shopkeepers are genuine and with the help of Former MLA and administrative authorities, the problems will be solved. Harvinder Singh, President of Association, thanked the Former MLA and authorities for looking into their grievances and expected that their demands would be met.
Rajesh Saini, Vikas Singh Lovely, S. Harcharan Singh, Rajesh Sharma, PK Bhat and several other association members and locals were also present.
