JAMMU, July 20: The Road Safety Club of GDC Paloura organized an online awareness programme on the theme "Sadak Suraksha-Jeevan Raksha" from 13th -19th July, 2021. During the week long activities, various online competitions i.e. Digital Poster making, Video making, Slogan writing, Paragraph writing, Poster making and Quiz were organized. The purpose of conducting such a programme was to spread awareness among students regarding Road Safety. In Digital poster making competition, Rahul Khullar bagged first position, Suhasni Kapoor stood second and Gurusewak got third prize. In video making competition, Shewali stood first and Riya secured Second position. In Paragraph writing, Vikrant stood first whereas, Shewali Malhotra and Sajan Sharma secured second and third positions respectively. In slogan writing competition, Ratik Singh stood first whereas, Shewali and Vishal attri secured second and third positions. In poster making competition, first position was secured by Shewali Malhotra, second position was bagged by Rakshit Bhal and third position was secured by Manav Baloria. In quiz competition, first position was shared by six students namely Rinku, Kartik Sharma, Taniya, Madhu, Amandeep Kour and Kartik Sharma, Second position was shared by Simranpreet Kour and Reenu Devi whereas, Aditya Bangotra, Shivali Sharma, Shaguna Manhas and Rahul Khullar shared third positions. The participants were adjudged by Prof. Narayan Dutt, GDC Paloura, Prof. Sanjay Kotwal, GDC Paloura and Prof. Sanjay Sharma, GDC Udhampur. The week long Awareness Programme was organized by Prof. Vishal Magotra along with the members of the Road Safety Club. Prof. Ramneek Kaur, principal of the college appreciated the efforts of the Road safety Club of GDC Paloura for organizing such an awareness programme. |
