7/20/2021 11:10:18 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 20: A meeting of Various Sikh Organizations (VSO) J&K held under the chairmanship of Mohinder Singh Chief Organizer Bhai Kanaya Nishkam Sewa Society J&K and ex-member District Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee Jammu. In the meeting Various Sikh Organizations participated and discussed several issues. The members appealed the Prime Minister with the request to issue strict instructions with penal action to all private hospitals empanelled for cashless treatment under Ayushman Health cards as all such hospitals in Jammu and its periphery, Kashmir, Punjab and allover India are not accepting health cards which are issued to public. That central government has taken great step to provide cashless health treatment up to Rs 5 lakh per family under the Ayushman card scheme. But all the empanelled hospitals in Jammu and other areas are not honouring and accepting health cards which makes the whole scheme null and void. People are facing embarrassment and great hardships due to not accepting of health cards.
Association also appealed that all private hospitals who declared the patients died due to natural death but shown as corona patients shall be inquired all over the country as this has caused great embarrassment to the families for their financial motive and also it has increased budget to give relief to such persons. Also many hospitals handed over wrong bodies fully covered to the families after death which are also matter of great concern. All then members with one voice appealed Prime Minister and Health Minister of India and Lt Governor of J&K to take note of the pleas in the interest of people at large and take remedial measures.
Those who participated the meeting included Darbinder Singh President Shiromani Akali Dal J&K, Rajinder Singh General Secretary Shiromani Akali Dal J&K, Raja Singh Sarpanch member DGPC Jammu, Ravinder Singh Sarpanch & General Secretary Shiromani Akali Dal J&K, Kulwant Singh Khajuria Joint Secretary Shiromani Akali Dal J&K, Charanjeet Singh (KAS) retired SDM (Convener Punjabi Chetna Manch), Prof Yudhvir Singh Corporator, Gajan Singh President J&K Motor Transport Company Association, and several others.
