GGM Science College inaugurates three days online webinar

JAMMU, July 20: Psychological Counselling Cell in collaboration with NSS and NCC units of GGM Science College, Jammu inaugurated three days online webinar series cum workshop with the theme "Stop stress before it stops you".
The event started today and would continue till 22nd July 2021 under the patronage of worthy Principal Dr. Ravender Tickoo.
This event is in continuation of the celebrations commemorating "Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav". The webinar started with the welcome address by Dr. Shakha Sharma, Coordinator Pyschological Counselling Cell who emphasized how to manage stress.
The resource person Dr. R.J. Kalpna, Founder Director, Athena Consultancy, Founder Pen and Ink Solutions, Enterpreneur and Heartfulness Meditation Trainer, Tamil Naidu focussed on GUIDED RELAXATION wherein she gave a deep insight on the techniques how to RELAX AND REFRESH. She also demonstrated how to meditate effectively, relax and be stress free.
Her soulful presence was a source of guidance to all the participants. More than 150 students, NSS Volunteers, NCC Cadets and faculties from different schools and colleges of J&K UT participated actively in this workshop.
Dr. Ravender Tickoo, worthy Principal appreciated the efforts being put by all the coordinators and advised the participants to inculcate such healthy practices in their day to day life to cope with stressful encounters they are facing in this pandemic. The webinar ended with vote of thanks by Dr. Deepali Mahajan, NSS PO. The whole event was coordinated by Dr. Shakha Sharma (Coordinator Pyschological Counselling Cell), Dr. Deepali Mahajan (NSS PO) and Dr. Anjana Sharma (NCC ANO).
