| GCET kick starts week long events to commemorate independence day | | |

Jammu, Aug 8: The Government College of Engineering and technology (GCET) Jammu today kick-started week-long series of events on the eve of 75th Independence Day Celebration and to commemorate “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.
The events were started by the worthy Principal of the college Dr. Sameru Sharma. While inaugurating the series of events she said that India is a land of diversity where people of different caste, creed, religion, culture, and belief live together.
The events started with online business pitching competition followed by series of events like slogan writing, digital shows, poster making competition and will culminate on 15th of August with National Flag Hoisting, Flag relay and on Campus Plantation derive. The events are to be organized under the guidance of different conveners of the college. The Principal of the college congratulated all the conveners and students for organizing such events with full zeal and dedication. All the participants in these events will get the participation certificates on 15th of August. |
