Jammu, Aug 8: A “felicitation ceremony” was organised at Mother India Senior Secondary School, R.S. Pura in which the 22 position holder students of Class 12th were honoured.
SSP Jammu Chandan Kohli (IPS) was the Chief Guest on the occasion and Ramnish Gupta, SP (HQ) was the Guest of Honour. SDPO R.S. Pura, Jenab Shabir Khan and SHO R.S. Pura Sh. Jai Pal Sharma, were also present on the occasion.
The function was held under the chairmanship of Ch. Mohan Singh, Chairman, Management Committee of the School and was presided over by the Principal of the School, Sonia Tohra
Chief Guest Chandan Kohli congratulated the students, their parents and the management and staff of the school for achieving the milestone of 22 positions in Class 12th Board Exams.
He said that fetching 22 positions in the merit list of class 12th by the students from a school which is located in the border area of Suchetgarh is really historical and appreciable as being the residents of border villages, these students have short of resources but they kept their spirit high and competed with full zeal.
Ch. Mohan Singh, Chairman, Management Committee of the School, also addressed the students and congratulated them for achieving the milestone of positions in Board Exams. He also lauded the role of School in producing excellent results.
The staff members who were present on the occasion Naresh Choudhary, Narinder Singh, Ankush Gupta, Arjun Kapoor, Rohit Choudhary, Parampreet Kour, Amita Choudhary, Hemlata, Ekta Bhagat, Smily Raina, Rozy Choudhary, Narinder Kumar, Sumit Rattan, Renu Sharma, Sudesh Choudhary, Ritu Devi, Kiran Bahadur and Sohan Lal.
