DODA, Aug 16: As a part of Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav, Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture & Languages and Information department, organised Sham-e-Gazal as part of Independence -Day celebrations here in Town Hall Doda.
Local artists performed in the during the musical fest organised with due adherence to Covid safety Protocols. Hindi, Kashmiri, Dogri and Bhaderwahi songs kept the audience spellbound.
DDC, Vikas Sharma; President MC Doda Ved Prakash Gupta; ACD, Idrees Lone, CPO Doda and other officers & officials were also present.
Speaking on the occasion, the DDC said that he was fascinated by the rich cultural display by local artists. He asked JKAACL to make a record of all the local artists so that they can be promoted at UT level and further at national level. He further said that he is sure that our artists can prove their worth at any forum. |
