| Reasi Police realizes Rs 13.27 lakh fine for violating COVID SOPs | | |

REASI, Aug 17: To fight Covid Pandemic, police on the one hand is propagating awareness about COVID Appropriate Behavior in every nook and corner of district through announcements, on the other hand enforcing & slapping fines against the Violators of Covid Appropriate Behavior in the jurisdiction to achieve 100% compliance on protocol set up by the Health department.
Under this drive Reasi Police booked 14,531 violators of Covid Protocol throughout the district, collected a fine of Rs 13,27,145, is being deposited in the kitty of Red Cross Society which remains at the disposal of Deputy Commissioner.
Besides this police personal including Village Defense Committee members are already engaged in awareness drive as 'Force Multiplier' in the vaccination campaign in Mahore & other remote areas of the District Reasi for Covid Protocol. Police & VDC are also helping ignorant people against false rumors about the vaccination, actively mobilizing eligible citizens & mobilizing them to vaccination camps.
SSP Reasi Shailender Singh told that Reasi Police is committed to make people aware about Covid SOP's and make them to follow Covid appropriate behavior in totality along with vaccination which is the only way out to fight against this deadly Pandemic.
Singh further appealed that people should come forward for Covid Vaccination and let's make district Reasi as 100% Vaccinated district at earliest. |
