Early Times Report

Jammu, Aug 17: Continuing the target killings of BJP leaders in Jammu and Kashmir, terrorists on Tuesday killed a constituency in-charge of the party in the Brazloo area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
The deceased has been identified as Javaid Ahmad Dar son of Abdullah Dar resident of Brazloo who was shot dead outside his residence.
Killing of BJP workers after repeatedly intervals has become a routine affair in J&K but those at the helm of the affairs have no time to take this issue seriously. Except strongly condemning killing of BJP workers, authorities have done nothing because higher-ups in the administration have no time to tackle this serious problem.
“Javaid was the constituency in charge of BJP for Kulgam,”, initial reports said, adding that the police party has rushed to the spot to ascertain the facts.
The official said that the whole area has been cordoned off to nab the terrorists.
Meanwhile, J&K BJP strongly condemned the terror attack on constituency president Homeshalibagh Javed Ahmed Dar.
“J&K BJP strongly condemned the terror attack on Constituency President Homeshalibagh Sh Javed Ahmed Dar, those who are responsible for this will not be spared. May God give peace to departed soul and fortitude to their family to bear this terrible loss. Our condolences are with the family”, the party tweeted.
Today’s killing was the third selective attack on BJP workers in Jammu and Kashmir.
On August 12, a group of terrorists had attacked BJP leader Jasbir Singh’s house with a grenade at Khandli bridge Chowk in the heart of Rajouri town of Jammu and Kashmir. Five of Singh's family members were injured, and a minor was killed in the attack.
The deceased, identified as two-year-old Veer Singh son of Balbir Singh, was the nephew of BJP Mandal president Jasbir Singh, an ex-serviceman whose house was targeted by the terrorists.
On August 9, BJP leader and his wife were killed in a terrorist attack in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district. BJP’s Kisan Morcha president of Kulgam, Gulam Rasool Dar, and his wife died after terrorists fired bullets at the couple in the Lal Chowk area of Anantnag.
