| Sahitya Akademi organises Kavi Goshthi in Dogri | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 17: Sahitya Akademi, New Delhi organized a comical kavi Gosthi in Dogri language under the web line literature series.
Well-known litterateurs and poets of Dogri language participated in the programme. The program started with the welcome address by Dr. Suresh Babu, Deputy Secretary, Sahitya Akademi. After which the introductory speech was read by Prakash Premi Ji, a well-known litterateur of Dogri language and awarded by the Sahitya Akademi Award! Among the senior poets who participated in this program, well-known satirist of Dogri language, Vijay Sharma, Randhir Singh Rajpuria ji, Kewal Kumar Kewal, Harvans Lal Harsh and Harsh Tunda Mitra enthralled the audience by reciting their satiric poems.
In the poems of these poets, the social, economic, political and other problems of the land were satirically taunted! At the end of the program, Dr. Suresh Babu expressed his gratitude to the senior poets and litterateurs of Dogri who participated in this Kavi Gosthi and said that in this corona call, when the whole world is battling a global pandemic, due to which the Sahitya Akademi has to do all its programs through the web line following the government instructions. |
