AO Court Kishtwar imposes Rs 60000 fine on 13 Business operators of violating FSSA provisions | | | Early Times Report KISHTWAR, Aug 17: The court of Adjudicating Officer (ADM), Kishtwar, Kishori Lal Sharma, today imposed a fine of Rs 60,000 on Food Business Operators including retailer and suppliers for violating the prescribed provisions/norms of Food Safety and Standard Act 2006 & Rules and Regulations 2011 made there under (FSSA). The complaint was filed before the Court of Adjudicating Officer/ADM Kishtwar against the FBOs for violating provisions of FSSA. The court served the summons to both parties included in the complaint/case. The parties appeared before the court where the Adjudicating Officer heard Food Safety Officers and Non-Complainants. The Non-Complainants party felt guilty for violating the provisions of 26/51/52 of FSSA on which Adjudicating Officer Kishtwar imposed a fine of Rs60000/- under general provisions of 49 of FSSA on 13 Food Business Operators (Non-Complainants). |
