| DLSA organizes awareness camps on Social Welfare schemes at Batote, Gool, Magerkote, Sangaldhan, Rajgarh, Dalwah | | |  Early Times Report
RAMBAN, Aug 17: District Legal Service Authority, Ramban under the chairmanship of Principal District and Session Judge Ramban, Haq Nawaz Zargar, conducted series of Legal Awareness Camps on social welfare and other beneficiary oriented schemes across the district through PLVS, panel lawyers and Chairman TLSCs. The Legal awareness camps were held at Batote, Gool, Magerkote, Rajgarh, Dalwah and Sangaldan to sensitize the people about Daughters Marriage Yojana and SUMAN scheme for pregnant ladies besides importance and implementation of Prime Minister -Ayushman Bharat- SEHAT scheme. Panel lawyer and PLVS of DLSA Ramban, Officers of Social welfare and other concerned departments also attended the function. During the programme, resource persons made the people aware about the beneficiary oriented schemes of the social sector which have been implemented recently by the Government. Speaking on the occasion, the resource persons explained to the local people about the benefits of various schemes and the required documents which are necessary for applying to take advantage of schemes. They urged people to come forward to take maximum advantage from schemes. The panel of lawyers present on the occasion also focused on the awareness campaign”, aimed at making local people of the district Ramban aware of the social welfare schemes. |
