| GDC Sidhra organizes activity on TB awareness | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Aug 17: Under the aegis of J&K Aids Control Society, H&ME, Department, the Red Ribbon Club of GDC, Sidhra organized an online Intra-college activity on TB awareness campaign.
A number of RRC volunteers participated in the activity with full enthusiasm. The participants were judged by Dr. Shashi Prabha, Associate Professor Department of English and Prof. Harpreet Kour Head Department of Pol.science of the college.
The result of the activity was declared on 17th of August, 2021 in which Anamika Verma B.A 2ND Sem was adjudged at first position and Palvi Devi B.A 2ND Sem, secured second position and third position goes to Najeeb Sheikh student of B.A Sem-II, of the college. Principal, Dr. Monika Sharma congratulated the winners and participants both for contributing their efforts for awareness programme. She also stressed upon students and society always actively participate these events to save people from health , social and economic loss associated with TB. She also stressed TB is curable diseases with these awareness campaign we can save lot of lives.The event was organized by Dr. Satbir Kour, Nodal Officer of RRC and Dr. Punam Rani, Head, Department of History of the college. |
