Pak won’t change | | | It has been more than six months since India and Pakistan armies agreed to maintain ceasefire along the Line of Control (LoC). There has been no violation from the Indian side but Pakistan continues to support terrorism. The terror infrastructure is intact so are the militant launch pads. Terrorists are being pushed into Jammu and Kashmir, drones are dropping weapons and even the drone attacks are being carried out. One thing is clear that Pakistan is not mending its ways it continues to support the terror and the terrorists. Militant handlers are calling the shots and are trying their best to keep the pot boiling. On August 14 a terror module was busted in Doda region of Jammu whereas a similar Pakistan backed network was unearthed in Kashmir. One day before busting of the terror modules four sticky bombs were seized in Poonch area. These sticky bombs are given by Pakistan Army to terror groups world over. On August 12, a grenade blast left a child dead and half a dozen others wounded in attack on BJP leaders residence in Rajouri. A BJP leader and his wife were shot dead in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district. The terrorism has not ended in J&K despite the ceasefire along the LoC. India wants to have friendly relations with the neighboring country despite that Pakistan seems in no mood to stop sponsoring terror. From construction of terror tunnels to use of drones for smuggling arms into Jammu region or dropping of bombs, Pakistan has not been giving up its sinister agenda. Pakistan seems to be misconstruing India’s desire for peace as it weakness but the fact is that India can hit back and hit back hard. If Pakistan continues to sponsor terror and keeps on testing India’s patience it will have to face the consequences. The terror bosses are roaming scot free in the neighbouring country and are recruiting people in their outfits. Besides sending in armed militants into J&K, Pakistan is carrying out a vicious propaganda to radicalize the youth through social media. No stone is being left unturned to keep Jammu and Kashmir burning. But Pakistan needs to bear in mind that Indian Army is prepared and is just waiting for the marching orders. Pakistan cannot keep on supporting terror and expect India to act as a mute spectator. |
