| Ex legislator starts up-gradation of drains | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 20: Former Minister and Ex MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma (CA) along with Corporator Ward 37 (Janipur) Sunita Gupta started works for upgradation of drains with installation of iron gratings in various areas of the ward. The leader was accompanied by a large number of people including JMC officials, local residents and political activists of the area.
The works will be done at an estimated cost of Rupees 34 lakhs and the funds were allotted to the Corporator for the purpose.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that such works are being taken up in every ward of Jammu West and he appreciated the works of the Corporators for taking up the works of utmost priority in the wards which will solve many problems of the inhabitants. He said every activist of the party is connected with the public and the matters which need immediate attention are solved on priority in order to avoid public distress.
Sunita Gupta also spoke on the occasion. AEE Kuldeep Raj, JE Ranjan Sharma, Supervisor Joginder Singh, Sahil gupta Ward president, Kulbir Singh, Avinash Anand. Ramesh Sharma, Vicky Sharma, Ajay Manhas, Sahil Anand, Gourav Sharma, Swaran Singh, Parveen Anand, Sanjay Bakshi, Anil Sharma, Ashok Kumar and others were present. |
