Congress leader stages protest against BJP

JAMMU, Aug 20: Gurmeet Singh President Beopar Mandal and District General Secretary of Congress Jammu East today staged protest demonstration against the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) led government.
During the protest he also interested with the locals and took stock of the problems being faced by them. The Protest was orgnised by Gurmeet Singh President Beopar Mandal & District General Secretary Congress and also Ward no.3 President Hardavinder Singh, Manohar Joshi.
It was observed that the streets are in a very bad condition for the last 3 to 4 years and the children as well as elders are afraid that they may not fell down and injured as such the repair is very much necessary. The reparative of the BJP Govt has never visited the area and never heard the problem of the people.
BJP Government has announced the Jammu as Smart city but on the other hand no concrete steps have been taken by the BJP Govt. to make Jammu a Smart city.
Gurmeet Singh also appealed to the public to stay strong and support the Congress party in exposing the BJP and their failed promises. He said that they have ignored Jammu city for very long and consequently problems have increased manifold. Development and maintenance projects have not been taken seriously and that has disrupted the daily lifestyle of people.
Prominent among those who accompanied Distt General Secretary Congress Gurmeet Singh include Ward President Hardavinder Singh, Manohar Joshi, Raj Kumar, Kunti Devi, Laxmi, Asha, Kumari, Yash Sharma, Amarpreet Singh, Vijay Kumar, Raj Kumar, Apu Singh, and beside others.
