| 92 violators penalized for Covid-19 violations | | |

SAMBA, Aug 20: Samba Police today in a joint drive with District Civil administration booked 92 persons across the District Samba and imposed a fine amounting to Rs. 46,000/- on them for not following Covid-19 appropriate behaviour.
Samba Police appealed the citizens to always wear a face mask when stepping out of home, avoid unnecessary travel, be strict to the permitted limit of social gathering and remember to follow COVID Appropriate Behavior as these are the key preventive measures to curb the spread of COVID-19. People are further advised to maintain social distancing & personal hygiene. |
