| GDC RS Pura organizes mask making competition | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 20: Red Ribbon Club of GDC, R.S Pura in collaboration with J&k AIDS Control Society, H and ME Department, Jammu today organised a mask making competition on the topic COVID-19 through virtual mode under the patronage of Principal Dr. G.S.Rakwal.
Students of the college showed active participation in the event and made beautiful masks.
The idea is to make sure that people around follow good respiratory hygiene by covering mouth and nose with mask.
The participants were adjudged by Prof. Renu Sharma and Dr. Sheetal Devi. The result of the activity was declared on 20th August 2021.
The first position was bagged by Ritik Raina of sem-2, Shakshi Rajput of sem-2 secured Second position while Sunidhi Bharti of sem-2 got third position. First three positions will be rewarded with cash prizes of Rs.1000/-, Rs.750/-and Rs.500/- respectively. E-Certificates will be awarded to all the participants.
Principal of the college lauded the efforts of the participants and emphasized the need of organising more such activities.
The event was organised by Prof. Swati, Nodal Officer, Red Ribbon Club and co- ordinated by members of the RRC.
