Jammu, Aug 20: Live for Others-Being Helpful Foundation organised its 4th plantation drive during which more than 200 saplings were planted in Ramnagar at different locations.
Many volunteers took part in this “GREEN YATRA” campaign. The drive was inaugurated by Mool Raj (DDC Ramnagar) followed by Srinath Summan (Tehsildar Ramnagar), Preetam lal (BDO Ramnagar),
Tarseem Singh (Principal Model high Secondary school ) and . Vijay (Principal of Girls Hr. Sec. School) Ramnagar by planting some saplings at Model Hr. Sec. School, Ramnagar and Girls Higher Secondary School, Ramnagar.
Different varieties of plants and trees were being planted including Sukhchain, Amla, Arjuna, Guava, Jalapa, Hibiscus, Gulmohar, Silver rope, Bognvilla and many other medicinal and flowering plants.
The volunteers who were present in this plantation drive were Hritik, Rahat, Diwakar, Rubina, Sourav, Aditya, Ravi, Sonal and many more. |
