| GCET organizes series of events | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 20: The NSS unit of Govt. College of Engineering & Technology, Jammu today organized series of online events in order to commemorate “Sadbhavana Diwas 2021”.
These events held under the patronage of worthy Principal Dr. Sameru Sharma. In her message she said that the theme of Sadbhavana Diwas is to promote national Integration and Harmony among all the people in India regardless of caste, religion, region and language.
She said that our country is having more than 20 languages, different religions & cultures and hence it is important to make the people aware of the importance of peace and harmony in the country. Sadbhavana Pledge- an oath to work for the oneness and harmony and national integrity among all the people of all the religions, languages and regions was taken by more than 75 participants.
The pledge was administered by NSS volunteer Ms. Jaanvi Sharma. A documentary related to Sadbhavana Diwas was also played before participants.
The whole event was organised by Sr. NSS volunteers Mandeep Singh, Sakshi Bhat & Mohd. Sammi under the able guidance of NSS Programme Officer Dr. Raman Gupta.
He congratulated all the participants and encouraged them all to celebrate Sadbhavana Diwas with all enthusiasm, by removing all the hatred from their hearts and spread love and happiness all over the country. |
