| DLSA Reasi concludes week long Plantation drive | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
REASI, Aug 20: The week-long plantation drive organised by District Legal Services Authority, Reasi for preservation and restoration of depleting environment and in compliance with the mandate of Action Plan of the year 2020-21, concluded today.
The drive was held under the supervision of R.N.Watal, Chairman District Legal Services Authority, Reasi.
The plantation program was formally inaugurated by the Chairman R. N. Watal in presence of Jyotsana Sarkar, Divisional Forest Officer Reasi at District Court Complex (Headquarter) Reasi.
Chief Judicial Magistrate Reasi, Secretary District Legal Services Authority Reasi; Additional Special Mobile Magistrate Reasi, President Bar Association Reasi, Senior & Junior Advocates of Bar Association Reasi, Staff Of the District Court, officials of the forest Division Reasi participated in this plantation drive.
During the plantation drive different flowery, Ornamental, Shady, Medicinal, Teak and other plants were planted at some prominent places which included Kalika Temple, Govt. Boys and Girls Higher Sec. Schools Reasi, Bhimgarh Fort, Govt. Boys Higher Sec. School Pouni, Degree College Pouni, Bhartiya Vidya Mandir School Kadyal Katra besides District Court Complex Reasi and Katra etc.
The plantation drive commenced on August 13, and it concluded today. District Legal Services Authority Reasi through PLVs also conducted plantation drives at several places in District Reasi to plant a maximum number of trees in and around the District Reasi.
