| GDC Basohli organizes mask making competition | | |

BASOHLI, Aug 23: Red Ribbon Club (RRC) of GDC Basohli in collaboration with J&K Aids Control Society organised a mask making contest under the aegis of New India Campaign @75.
The online contest was conducted under the patronage of Dr. Nidhi Kotwal, Principal GDC, Basohli and convened by Dr. Shiv Kumar, Nodal Officer, RRC, GDC Basohli. The programme outline was briefed by the nodal officer along with the instructions and guidelines for mask making. Participants hand stitched masks by keeping all the instructions and guidelines in their mind.
The stitched masks were adjudged by Prof. Pawan Kumar, Prof. Brham Dutt and Sandeep Sharma. Results revealed that Shipali Billowria of Sem 4th bagged the first position, whereas Sahil Singh of Sem-VI and Aditi Kashev of Sem IV stood at 2nd and 3rd position. The Principal acknowledged the efforts of students for hand stitching of masks. She also talked about the importance of masks in this Covid time and its proper disposal procedures. The contest ended with the formal vote of thanks to the chair and participants by Dr. Shiv Kumar. |
