After betraying people Cong, PDP peddling false narrative, alleges BJP leader | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Aug 27: Having looted the erstwhile state's exchequer, done nothing as ministers and then discouraged the three-tier system of governance by not holding elections to local bodies, several former ministers belonging to Congress, PDP and even NC are now trying to peddle a false narrative about the present dispensation by raking up issues of unemployment and poor governance. Truth, however, is that this is for the first time in its history that J&K is witnessing the most transparent system of governance. This was stated by BJP J&K Executive Member Raman Suri, who added that every institution spoilt by misgovernance is being revived, accountability is being fixed, corrupt and Pakistan sympathisers are getting nailed, money is being spent judiciously, funds are reaching beneficiaries directly, new projects are coming up, massive infrastructure is connecting all districts of the UT and the UT with rest of the world, and above all, the scope of corruption is completely being eliminated from all goverment departments. Contrarily those leaders, who during their tenure as ministers, grabbed land, made money, didn't work for welfare of people, never cared to empower masses at grassroot levels, stalled the progress of erstwhile state, completely ignored Ladakh region, played with the career of youth, failed to generate employment and even betrayed their own party workers by not holding elections to local bodies or denying them mandate by not participating in such elections, whenever held, are trying to play Mr. Clean today. Raman Suri asked the leaders from these parties to desist from misleading people and read the writing on the wall that from this day onwards, Jammu and Kashmir is not going to look back and the youth will never fall a prey to misinformation and misguidance. He said, the new UT is being directly monitored by Parliamentary delegation, special Secretaries of Union Government and all those who have been entrusted with the job to rewrite history of development in J&K. |
