JAMMU, Aug 27: Women's Studies Centre, GGM Science College, Jammu under the patronage of Dr. Ravender Tickoo, principal, in collaboration with Reserve Bank of India, Jammu organized a webinar on the topic "Financial Literacy and Awareness" on 27thAugust 2021. This event was graced by Shri Ramesh Chand, Banking Ombudsman for J&K and Ladakh and other RBI officials.
The resource person Anil K. Reshi, Secretary and Assistant General Manager, Office of Ombudsman, RBIgave informative presentation aboutthe financial products, ability to choose the right product and information about the mechanism for grievance redressal and consumer protection, etc. The session was followed by Q&A. The programme was organized by Deepti Sainifrom RBI, Jammu, Dr. Vandana Khajuria, Convener, Women's Studies Centre, Dr. Babita Mahajan, Dr. Shalini Sharma, Dr. Anshu Sawhney, Prof. Shrdha Anand, Prof Neeru Sawhney and other members of Women's Studies Centre, GGM Science College, Jammu.
