| JIAR celebrates Sanskrit day | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 27: Jammu Institute of Ayurveda and Research celebrated World Sanskrit Day- "Sanskrit Utsav Mangalkarya". Sri Pratap Singh; Sanskrit Bharti Purnakalika Karyakarta; was the Chief Guest of this program. He was accompanied by Sri Rahul; member of Seva-Bharti as the co-guest.
The function was presided over by Suman Sharma Chairperson, Shri Sain Charitable Trust, Jammu. Managing Directors Ritesh and Ravish; CEO's Japna and Jasudha were also present.
Director Academics Dr. Raghuvir Singh, Principal Dr. Sharada, Vice Principal Dr. Nitin Mahajan were present in the function.
The program was organized by the Department of Samhita and Siddhanta. Anjini Kanna, Dr. Jatinder, Dr. Venandana, Dr. Lakshmi Sameer, were the organizers.
The faculties of other Departments and PG students were present in the program.
Dr. Lakshmi Sameer delivered the welcome speech in Sanskrit Language. Assistant Professor Anjini Kanna highlighted the importance of Sanskrit in a very precise way.
Pratap Singh highlighted the beauty of Sanskrit language, also known as the holy language of our nation. He had explained each and every important aspect about the holy language, very beautifully. We arranged a workshop in which the Chief guest had a conversation in Sanskrit language with everyone present in the event.
