| CF demands to convert Jammu bus stand into hospital | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 29: Citizen’s Forum (CF) has demanded to convert Jammu Bus stand into a hospital.
R K Chadha, President of the Forum said, “we fail to understand what for Jammu Bus Stop Commercial building is constructed by JDA spending Rs. 213 crores when there is no buyer for the same. This is how Jammu funds are wasted and then if we proposed to convert it into a Modern Super-Speciality Hospital to cater as central Hospital for entire Jammu region for patients refered to GMC for special treatments so as to lower the rush in the GMC Jammu. But cannot think beyond limited horizon that day by day influx of patients in Jammu is increasing and a Big super speciality Hospital is the need of theday. “Make it a subsidized paid Hospital with renowned expert Doctors from rest of the country. Pay them well from the Income generated. People otherwiseare going to other big cities in top Hospitals for better care and treatment”, He said. |
