Sarv Shakti Sanstha flays BJP for price hike | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Sept 5: Sarv Shakti Sanstha, J&K unit, today expressed resentment against the indscrminate price hike across the country. Addressing media persons here today, Rajan Gupta, President Sarv Shakti Sanstha, J&K unit, raised serious concern over increasing poverty and pointed that nearly 80 crore Indians are below poverty lines and the Modi Government has done absolutely nothing for them. “Households are pleading for help as they can’t afford oil to make their food, cannot afford fuel to travel to work, cannot afford LPG to cook their food. Each section is distressed and the government sits hand in hand doing nothing,” he said. Gupta said that the NDA government is taking decisions that continue to disrupt and harm the lives of the common man in some or the other way. The incessant price rise has had the people in its clutches since several months. The poor are affected the worst as they cannot afford sufficient food to feed their families, and yet the government has the audacity to boast about their policies. He said prices are unaffordable, unbearable and unreasonable and that the people have to work cohesively together to fight the government on matters of inflation, growing unemployment rates, and other countless issues. Further attacking the Centre, Rajan said that the BJP government at the Centre is ruining the future of our promising nation as the present government in the Centre has failed badly in safeguarding and protecting national assets. The government is selling everything, he added. Rajan Gupta appealed to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi government to address the problems being faced by a common in this high inflation era instead of selling country’s assets. |
