| Modi led BJP Govt violated constitutional, legal rights of OBCs: Suresh | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 15: Suresh Kumar Dogra, Chairman OBC Department of Congress while referring to the rationalization of reservation policy framed by Modi led Government for Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir alleged that this government has violated the legal and constitutional rights of other backward classes. He alleged that OBC people have been befooled by Modi led Central Government.
Dogra said that the OBC status and the Mandal Commission report which guarantees 27 percent reservation and extension of National Commission for Backward Classes were totally ignored, which is the provision of UT. After the abrogation of Article 370 and formation of UT, the Centre Govt has implemented all national laws in the newly carved UT of Jammu and Kashmir but it is very unfortunate that the national laws for the OBCs were not implemented. |
