Early Times Report JAMMU, Sept 27: General Category People's Front, Jammu Kashmir today held its meeting under the chairmanship of Raj Kumar Banathia, to pay tributes to the young martyrs (students) of anti Mandal Agitation of 1990, which was against the implementation of Mandal Commission on report by then government of India. Speaking on the occasion, Yash Paul Sanson, President of the Front said that every effort towards the goal of justice requires sacrifice, sufferings and continuous struggle, the tireless exertion and passionate concern of dedicated individuals. India today needs true secular leaders who care for basic fundamental rights of equality and justice, he said. The participants pledged to follow the path shown by the martyrs to make India a secular and democratic civilized nation in the world. Those who paid tributes to the martyrs included Madan Lal, Bhushan Pargal, Vijay Sharma, Gopal Dass Verma and others. |
