Rajouri, Sept 27: As many as 32 students of private school tested positive for COVID-19 in this frontier district on Monday.
According to the details available with Early Times target sampling was conducted by a team of Health Department in the private school located in Thanamandi sub division.
Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Shamim Bhatti told reporters that a team of Health Department from Darhal medical block visited the private school this morning.
“During COVID-19 sampling 32 students were found positive, “ she said, adding that all the students are residents of different villages of Thanamandi.
The Medical Officer also informed that the information regarding this has been shared with higher authorities and these students could be shifted to Covid Care Centre to prevent community spread of the virus in the area. |
