| Bharat Sports Club organizes race for girls | | |  Early Times Report
BANI, Sept 27: As part of ‘Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav’ programme, Bharat Sports Club Bani took the initiative towards the upliftment of girls by organizing a sports event in which more than 40 girls participated in the short race.
The main aim behind holding today’s event at Bani was to inspire the girls of hilly areas of the district.
Tasbina Sheikh, district audit officer Kathua from Bani was the chief guest on the occasion while DDC member Bani, Reeta Thakur, ZMO Dr. Rameshwar Singh and Dr Vishal Sharma Principal GDC Bani, Ranjeet Kour, Shazia Mir, SDPO Basohli, BDO Bani Sushil Singh and Sahil Angral BDO Bhood graced the occasion.
Reeta Thakur while expressing happiness over the participation of girls in the sports event with full enthusiasm advised them to focus equally on physical and mental fitness and strive to excel in the fields of their choice.
She lauded the Bharat Sports Club for holding this useful event for the girls. |
