| JKTA holds meet, constitutes tehsil unit for Basantgarh | | |  Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, Sept 27: JK Teachers Association (JKTA) held a meeting at Basantgarh under the leadership of Zonal President Dudu, Kewal Singh, senior leaders of teachers' fraternity Wazir Mohd, Isher Dass Balla and Shafiq. The meeting was attended by a large number of teachers from all clusters of Tehsil Basantgarh of Zone Dudu.
In the meeting UT President of JK Teachers Association Bhupinder Singh was also present as Special invitee. Scores of representatives of other Teacher Unions joined JK Teachers Association in presence of UT President Bhupinder Singh. While speaking on the occasion Bhupinder Singh thanked all teachers who joined JKTA and appealed Principal Secretary School Education to frame transfer policy in favour of teachers appointed under ReT scheme as these teachers are working in same school for the last 21 years.
Meanwhile, teachers of Tehsil Basantgarh of Zone Dudu also elected its Tehsil Unit with Pritam Chand elected as Tehsil Chairman Basantgarh.
Teachers present in the meeting also elected its advisory committee and female wing of JKTA for Tehsil Basantgarh. |
