Govt failed in meeting challenges faced by JK people: Malik | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Sept 27: Prominent women from different political parties on Monday joined Lok Janshakti Party in the presence of Rafiq Malik LJP JKUT President, Varun Bali LJP JKUT Sr Vice President, Sanju Bhagat LJP JKUT Secy and others. Those who joined LJP include Shivani, Bindu, Sishu,Chaya, Chanda, Shakti, Meenu, Neetu and several others. Speaking on the occasion, Malik said that party cadre is ready for any sacrifices for safeguarding the interests of JK people and that the party will continue to do that in an unswerving manner. He said people in J&K are unhappy and that the festering economic and political instability in the region has hit us badly. He maintained that development has taken a back seat and the administration has miserably failed to address their genuine grievances in the shape of unemployment, development deficit, administrative inertia and skyrocketing price rise of all the essential commodities. He reiterated that the party leadership will take the issues to all appropriate forums for their speedy redressal. Malik accused BJP government of plunging J&K into unprecedented political uncertainty by failing to maintaining law and order, adopting anti-people policies and indulging in politics of hate. "The present dispensation has failed in meeting challenges faced by the people of J&K," he said. Malik further said that every right thinking individual whether it's the civil society, mainstream opposition leaders or the religious leaders all have spoken against government's inability to address basic public issues. |
