| GDC Khour Celebrates Hindi Pakhwara | | |

JAMMU, Sept 27: GDC Khour celebrated Hindi Pakhwara by organizing number of activities. A large number of students participated actively in these programs. In the symposium organized, Bharti Devi of Sem 4th got first prize, while 2nd and 3rd prizes were secured by Vishali Kumari and Shivani Bhagat of Sem 6th respectively. The topic of the symposium was,'Vishav mei hindi ki Badti Lokpriyata'. In the quiz competition team 'B' was adjudged as winners comprised of Muskan Sharma, Rashmi and Kajal. The principal of the college, Prof Hans Raj in his address stressed upon the importance of our national language and urged the students to promote the Hindi Language in order to know the Indian society, its rich cultural heritage, deep values and traditions. The proceedings were conducted by Dr Seema Sudan (HOD, Department of Hindi). |
