| Residents of ward No. 1,2,3,4 stage protest against Bishnah Municipal Committee | | |

Jammu, Sept 27: The residents of ward no. 1,2,3,4 of Bishnah staged protest against Bishnah Municipal Committee for not cleaning drainage and collecting garbage in these areas.
Locals today blocked road and registered protest.
Although Chairman of Bishnah Municipal Committee Rajan Sharma reached the spot near Convent School and assured that cleaning will be done soon but the people didn’t listen to him and continue to lodge protest.
In order to convince the protesting people, Rajan Sharma said that he promised that matter will be resolved in few days and said that he would resign from the Chairman post if problem is not solved in few days. He also expressed his helplessness that the concerned officers, supervisors don’t listen to his orders.
The residents raised slogans against Municipal Committee and said that cleaning should be done right now and the employees who don’t listen to the problems of people, they should be thrown out of the deptt. |
