| ABVP continues protest against CLUJ for ignoring students issues | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 1: Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) staged a protest demonstration against the Cluster University of Jammu (CLUJ) for ignoring the students’ issues as the students have alleged that they are not getting admission in the university.
Many agitating students have detained by J&K police and many of them got injuries due to mild lathi-charge. The ABVP Jammu & Kashmir Secretary Mukesh Manhas said that with the passage of time Universities increases their intake capacity as well as infrastructure but the CLUJ is doing reciprocal for the same.
He said despite getting 85 percent and above in class 12th students are not getting admission in the colleges of CLUJ due to decrease in intake capacity and the collapsed infrastructure of the university. He said it is very unfortunate that the university administration as well as higher education authorities’ have kept silence on the whole issue. |
