DIG directs for opening of history sheet of notorious criminal

Jammu, Oct 1: Orders issued by the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Jammu-Samba-Kathua Range for opening of history sheet of a notorious criminal following written complaints by the locals could not be materialised on ground, as incharge of concerned Police Post and the Police Station, where FIRs registered the accused persons, allegedly trying their best to shield the accused person.
The DIG JKS Range, on 09/08/2021 vide no. CB/2021/7140, had advised the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Jammu for opening the history sheet of notorious criminal Noor Mohd son of Saif Ali resident of village Chowadhi Jammu.
According, the SSP Jammu on 14/08/2021 vide no. 18917 had directed all SHOs of Jammu district, SP City Sought Jammu and SDPO East Jammu for reply to any criminal case/complaint registered against Noor Ali. “There are already three FIRs registered against Noor Ali at Police Station Channi, FIR no. 07/2019 U/S 341, 323, 147, 148, 149, 136 RPC 3/25, 4/25 A. Act and FIR no. 45/2015 U/S 341, 323 RPC and FIR Np 35/2020 U/S 501, 336, 353, 447 IPC”, sources told Early Times, adding that the but the Incharge Police Post Sainik Colony and SHO Channi are taking responding to orders issued by their senior officers.
Moreover, the SSP Jammu on 14/06/2021 had already directed SDPO City East to take action against above named accused, and the SPDO East Jammu pulling his subordinate for not taking actions against the accused person, despite repeated communications, had sought explanation from the incharge Police Post Sainik Colony Jammu.
“More than two months, nothing has been heard from your end. As such, you are once again directed to look into the matter personally and furnish detail factual report to this office by tomorrow repeated by tomorrow positively for further submission to higher up and also explain cause of delay, matter most urgent”, SDPO East Jammu had wrote to Incharge PP Sainik Colony Jammu on 14/08/2021.
