Councillor urges JMC to maintain Sanitation equally in all areas | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 2: Councillor Ward 73, Prof (Dr) Youdhvir Singh commenced series of development works at different localities in Gadigarh in the presence of large number of people native to the respective colonies. The completion of these works will make the life easier and better from the sanitation point of view as the holistic objective of Mayor and the Commissioner of JMC is to maintain sanitation in all areas equally. The construction of drain at Lower Gadigarh near Gurudwara Sahib is being done after about two decades and the public highly appreciated the Councillor for the helping hand to the long neglected area. While addressing the group of people, Bopinder Singh appreciated the relentless efforts of Prof Youdhvir in ushering development works after long time in the Mohalla. The others prominent among those present on this occasion were Ravinder Singh, Dilbagh Singh, Upkar Singh, Harjot Singh, Tarlok Singh, Kotwal and Rocky, JEs Div 4 of JMC Engineering section. Tarlok extended vote of thanks on behalf of residents and his own behalf. Continuing the chain of laying foundation stone, Central drain project was also commenced in Sant Nagar from the house of Surinder Singh to that of Harmit Singh at the cost of Rs 4.33 lakh. In a simple function, the Councillor, Prof Youdhvir Singh got started the much needed construction of new drain in that area. Those who present on the occasion were Gurmeet Singh, Gurdeep Singh, Harjot Singh, Parvinder Singh, Joginder Singh and Master Harvard Singh.
