| Inqlabi gets award for exemplary service in field of tribal welfare, social work | | |

UDHAMPUR, Oct 2: On the occasion of Gandhi jayanti a large number of social workers, students of various schools and colleges participated in the function at Dewan-E- Aam Mubarak Mandi Jammu. The function was organized by Padamshree Dr. S P Verma president Gandhi Global Family Jammu and Kashmir and his team.
Advisor to Lieutenant Governor R Bhatnagar was chief guest on the occasion and Divisional Commissioner Jammu presided over the function. Jatinder Udhampuri, Prof. Ved Ghai, Shive nirmosh, Rajinder Tikoo, General G S Jamwal, General Rakesh Sharma, President Bar Association Jammu High Court N K Bhardwaj, Captain Bhana Singh also participated and paid glowing tributes to the father of the nation.
The Gandhi global family conferred the MAHATMA GANDHI SEVA PURASKAR-2021 to Rashid Azam Inqlabi for his outstanding service in the fields of tribal welfare and social work. Inqlabi has contributed a lot for the upliftment of downtrodden and people living in far-flung area. |
