| Azadi Ka Amrit Mahostav celebrated in MC Khour | | |

JAMMU, Oct 2: Municipal Committee (MC) Khour has felicitated all Safai Karamcharis including casual Safai Karamcharis by giving them appreciation certificates in the shape of ‘Scroll of Honour’ and one lunch box. The best prizes were also given to 3 Safai Karamcharis in the shape of trophies.
The event was conducted in the committee hall adjacent to MC office. Vice Chairman DDC Jammu Suraj Singh, President MC Khour Deputy Ram, Tehsildar Khour Sudesh Kumar Sharma and all the members and Municipal staff were present on the oocasion. The trophies and ‘Scroll of Honour’ were presented by the dignitaries present at the venue. Thereafter a sanitation drive in the shape of rally was started from Municipal Office and culminated at the end of main bazaar Khour. The rally was taken out for giving general awareness regarding segregation at sources and maintaining the town neat and clean. The awareness programme and sanitation drive will continue in future. At the end of event the vote of thanks was presented by Ravinder Kumar Sharma, EO MC Khour. |
