Baramulla, Oct 6: Two persons were arrested and hand grenades and pistol were recovered near the Line of Control (LoC) in border town of Karnah in the frontier district of Kupwara, official sources said on Wednesday.
They said security forces during a search operation arrested two persons identified as Zameer Ahmad Sheikh and Safeer Ahmad Sheikh and recovered eight hand grenades, one pistol and other incriminating material.
A case FIR has been registered and further investigation taken up, they said. |
