JAMMU, Oct 17: 10th International Exhibition of Art (Online) organized by Jammu & Kashmir Centre for Creative Arts (JKCCA), Jammu was inaugurated today on virtual platforms by Ramesh Arora, former MLC. Pt. Kewal K Sharma was the guest of honour on this occasion. The Exhibition, conceived & curated by OP Sharma, eminent Artist & Director JKCCA, is a projection of divergent styles, techniques and expressions by the 110 artists of the world working in varied art genres and styles of art. The prominent artists of India participating in the exhibition, include veteran, senior and young artists, like V S Rahi, Dr. A K Dixit, Padamshree N D Jamwal, Gokel Dembi, T S Batra, Jang S. Verman, O P Sharma, Kanwalnain Bhan, Ganesh Kumar Sharma, Sheikh Ghulam Rasool, K S Gill, Dharminder Sharma, Dr. Mamta Singh, Ramesh Bhosale, B R Bodade, Dr. Rekha Rani Sharma, Archana Choudhary and others. According to OP Sharma, Director JKCCA, the organization has made efforts to organize nine International Exhibitions of Art, either physically or online including shows during the times of devastating state of Covid-19 Pandemic. In his message Ramesh Arora said that Art has no limit to fly with deep rooted expression of soul. Artist can express the sentiments of human being, nature in other words, have ability to represent creator and creation. He appreciated OP Sharma, Director JKCCA who has worked hard along with his team of JKCCA members, who also deserves appreciation for this great job. |
