SKCC thrashes GC Club Gadigarh | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 17: Sher-e-Kashmir Cricket Club (SKCC) thrashed GC Club Gadigarh by a big margin of 38 runs in a match played at Babliana for creating awareness of drug abuse and Stay Fit JK Youth Mission. After winning toss, SKCC led by Aman S Cheema chose to bat first and set a target of 186 with the loss of 5 wickets in stipulated 20 overs. Anil Langeh with a quick fire half century scored 62 runs in just 16 balls while Taiya scored 35 runs in 31 balls and Surpreet Cheema also chipped in with 32 runs in 31 balls . For GC Club Gadigarh, Krishna took three wickets. Kashi, RK and Neeraj took one wicket each and wicket keeping done by Vardaan give advantage to SKCC by not giving any single extra run and creating pressure on another team. Chasing target, GC CLUB Gadigadh bundled out at 147 runs and lost the match. Neeraj scored highest 39 runs in 32 balls for the team while Asham scored 27 runs in 20 balls. From SKCC, Rohan took 3 wivkets while Akshay and Sandhu took 2 wicket each. Vishal and Neeraj also took 1 wicket each. Rohan is adjudged as man of the match. The match was organized by National Conference youth member Sumit Verma. |
