JAMMU, Oct 17: Jammu Kashmir Teachers' Joint Action Committee (JKTJAC) announced the expansion of UT level body of JKTJAC. The announcement was made during a press conference at Jammu under the leadership of UT President Vinod Sharma and UT Chairman Saleem Sagar. The press conference was attended by many senior leaders of JKTJAC across the UT. Speaking on the occasion, Vinod Sharma raised the burning issues of teachers which include: Inclusion of 5 years ReT period for seniority benefits by favour of the department in the high court, Comprehensive transfer policy in favour of teachers appointed under ReT Scheme as they have been working in the same schools for last more than 20 years, old pension scheme in favour of NPS employees so that their post retirement life not be in trouble, release of enhanced HRA @ 1%/2% in favour employees of the UT. Speaking on the occasion, Saleem Sagar demanded the resolution of salary issue of NPS employees who often suffer due to frequent non release of their monthly salaries. Rajesh Jamwal Provincial president Jammu, Lekh Raj Parihar DP Udhampur, Sajad Malik DP Doda, Manzoor Khan DP Rajouri, Balwan Singh DP Reasi, Hari Lal Nag DP Ramban , Surjit Singh, Ravinder Singh, Ashaq Jaral, Pankaj Sharma, and others were also present on the occasion. |
