JAMMU, Oct 17: An employee of Power Development Department was among two persons killed when a cab they were travelling in met with an accident and plunged into a gorge on Bhaderwah-Chamba road in Doda district today.
Police said that one cab ferrying passengers this afternoon fell into a deep gorge near Khanni Top in which two persons died and one suffered injuries. The deceased were identified as Ijaz Ahmed (45), son of Mohammad Sultan and Ravi Kumar (42), son of Shadi Lal, both residents of Sartingal village. The injured Irfan Ahmed, son of Bashir Ahmed, resident of Bheja village has been hospitalized. |
