Two killed, one injured as Tata Sumo falls into gorge in Bhaderwah | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 17: In yet another incident, two persons including an employee of the Power Development Department died while another person was injured after a Tata sumo they were travelling in skidded off the road and fell into a deep gorge near Khanni Top on Inter-State Bhaderwah-Chamba road on Sunday afternoon, officials said. As per the details available with Early Times, police official said that the vehicle bearing registration number JK06 - 8133 was on way towards Padri from Sartingal village skidded off the road near Khanni Top and fell into a 300 ft deep gorge purportedly due to the slippery conditions because of the drizzle since morning. In the accident, Ijaz Ahmed, 45, son of Mohd Sultan and Ravi Kumar, 42, son of Shadi Lal both residents of Sartingal village died on the spot, the official said added that Irfan Ahmed son of Bashir Ahmed resident of Bheja village suffered injuries and has been shifted to SDH Bhadarwah. The condition of the injured person is being monitored. |
